Giving.
Regular financial giving is one of the ways that members of our church express their belonging and partnership with us.
Because do not receive funding from Anglican Church head office, we depend upon our members to support the ministry of our church.
At Seaforth Anglican, there are several avenues available for regular giving, as well as special occasions or special purpose gifts.
How to give.
Internet Banking
Most people prefer to electronically deposit their giving directly from their bank account to the church’s bank account. To do this, you will need the following account details:

For accounting purposes, it would help us if you could indicate in the ‘Description’ field your name or which congregation you belong to.
Cash
During each of our Sunday gatherings, there is an opportunity for people to place cash or a cheque in the giving box, which is located just inside the entrance to the church building.
If you prefer to give by cash or cheque, you might like to use the envelope system. Envelopes are found in the entrance foyer of the church.
Tax-deductible funds
We have two tax-deductible funds: the Scripture in Government Schools Fund; and the Seaforth Anglican School Building Fund.
These funds allow for tax-deductible giving toward Scripture-related ministry in local schools and giving toward building maintenance and development. When you nominate your giving to go to either of these funds, you will receive a receipt and an Australian Taxation Office DGR number, which can be used to claim a tax deduction on your annual tax return. All cheques should be addressed to either St Paul’s Scripture in Government Schools Trust or Seaforth Anglican School Building Fund.
